Is the 1win app a scam or legit? I installed the Android package on a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, checked Google Play Protect, and inspected permissions. The scan showed no malware warning; the phone listed no permissions granted. Account access, a SOL deposit (about 10 minutes), and a SOL withdrawal (about 15 minutes) worked, each worth approximately RUB 10,000. I had first looked for UPI but couldn’t find it in my cashier. These results describe my test, not a guarantee about future versions, other APK files, or payment availability in India.
1win App at a Glance
I used a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and an Honor X8d (Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2, 8 GB RAM). The Honor provided a mid-range comparison.

Is the 1win App Legit or a Scam?
The 1win app legit or scam question starts with the package’s origin. I tested one build and account, not every file bearing the same name.
Official App vs Fake APKs
An APK is an Android installation package. A modified file can imitate the interface while stealing credentials. I didn’t test third-party copies.
How to Download the Official 1win App Safely?
This is the installation sequence I recorded, not an assurance that installing or using the service is lawful in every location:
- I opened the official 1win website in Chrome and selected the Android option in its footer.
- Chrome saved 1win.apk to Downloads.
- Android blocked installation until I temporarily allowed Chrome to install from that source.
- Google Play Protect checked the package without showing a malware warning.
- After installation, I disabled Chrome’s permission to install unknown applications.
- The application opened and offered account sign-in.
The temporary permission belonged to Chrome, not the installed casino application. I would not override a malware warning to complete an installation.
Red Flags of a Fake 1win APK
- Unexpected source: the package arrives through a message, mirror, or unofficial catalogue.
- App-store claim: a listing presents itself as the authorised release despite the website-only distribution route.
- Modified build: it advertises unlocked features, special odds or guaranteed returns.
- Unrelated access: it asks for SMS, contacts, or Accessibility permissions without an understandable reason.
- Security warning: Play Protect flags harmful or suspicious behaviour.
- Account recovery trick: someone asks you to install another package to unlock a balance or complete a withdrawal.
I couldn’t verify a publisher-supplied checksum or package ID.
Our Security Check
I inspected Android settings, not the application’s source code.
Permissions the App Requests
On the Samsung, the permissions screen said “No permissions granted.” Notifications were off, and I saw no granted SMS, contacts or Accessibility access. This is a snapshot of the tested installation, not proof that the app will never request permissions after an update.
Check under Settings – Apps – 1win – Permissions.
Virus Scan Results
Play Protect reported no malware warning. I didn’t bypass the scan; its result is not a comprehensive security audit.
Why the App Isn’t on Google Play
The Android package I tested was distributed through the casino’s website, not Google Play or another authorised store listing. I cannot confirm the publisher’s internal reason. Google’s policies place restrictions on real-money gambling applications, but those policies alone do not explain this particular distribution decision.
A lookalike listing is not proof of an authorised release.
How We Tested the 1win App
Clearing Chrome cookies had repeatedly signed me out. I tested whether an installed application kept its own session, then compared both phones and my browser account.
Installation and Registration
Both Android phones opened the installed application without an error. On the Samsung, I granted Chrome temporary installation permission, then revoked it. I signed into my existing account rather than creating a separate mobile profile; the balance and account progress matched what I saw in Chrome.
Reinstalling required another login, but account progress remained. Clearing Chrome cookies didn’t affect the app session. Navigation worked on the Honor too.
Deposit via the App
I wanted to check UPI first. For an India-focused review, it’s an obvious payment option to look for. But UPI wasn’t among the methods displayed in my account’s cashier. I checked the list and then used SOL, a cryptocurrency I had already used with the web version.
I opened Profile → Deposit, selected the available crypto method, and followed the account’s payment instructions. I deposited SOL worth approximately RUB 10,000. The funds appeared in the account after about 10 minutes, and the updated balance was visible in both the app and browser. I didn’t observe an app-specific problem.
That doesn’t establish UPI availability for other accounts or constitute a UPI transaction test.
The supplied guidance lists deposit estimates of 30–60 seconds for TON, 1–3 minutes for TRON, and 15–60 minutes for Bitcoin, but no SOL-specific estimate. Those estimates do not include SOL. In my test, the SOL deposit took approximately 10 minutes; this is an observed time, not a platform-wide processing guarantee.
Withdrawal via the App: Did It Work?
Yes. My SOL withdrawal completed. I checked the available options under Profile → Withdraw; UPI wasn’t shown in my cashier, so I used cryptocurrency again. I requested a withdrawal worth approximately RUB 10,000 in SOL, submitted it, and followed the account’s confirmation flow. It completed in about 15 minutes, without an additional Android-specific problem.
The general withdrawal instructions describe email-code confirmation. They also give up to 15 minutes for crypto withdrawals, with Bitcoin averaging around 30 minutes; bank cards and e-wallets may take up to 24 hours, while additional bank or provider processing can take up to three business days. These are general estimates, separate from the approximately 15-minute processing time I observed for my SOL withdrawal.
The transaction dates and exact SOL quantities are not specified in these notes. Verification and provider checks can affect processing, so another user may see different timings.
1win App Features
The app showed sports, casino, Markets, bonuses, tournaments, VIP, and profile sections. I tested navigation, not every game or market.
Sports Betting and Live Cricket
For an Indian reader, cricket is more relevant than a generic claim about “many sports.” I could navigate the sports and live sections on both Android devices. Market availability depends on the event schedule, and I didn’t record a verified list of cricket fixtures or place a cricket bet during this test.
I can’t confirm specific IPL fixtures or markets from this test. Live odds can change before acceptance.
Casino Games in the App
The casino catalogue and profile worked within the same app. I didn’t benchmark individual games.
Using an installed application does not change the underlying financial risks or create a mathematical advantage.
Performance and Stability
Neither Android phone crashed during navigation. On the Samsung, the app worked over Wi-Fi with mobile data disabled.
I didn’t test notifications. A background update preserved my session; reinstalling didn’t.
1win App Scam Complaints: What Users Report
The phrase 1win app scam often mixes unrelated concerns: unofficial installation files, account access problems, and delayed payments. They need different evidence.
For an unfamiliar APK, check its source and permissions. For login failures, check session data. For pending withdrawals, check the payment method, status, and verification history. My successful SOL withdrawal doesn’t invalidate other complaints.
Don’t install an unsolicited “replacement app” offered to release a payment.
Android vs iOS: Differences
On an iPhone 17 Pro Max, I added the Safari website to the Home Screen. That’s a shortcut, not a native iOS app.

|
No Play Protect malware warning |
Not an independent security audit |
|
No permissions granted on Samsung |

The main benefit was a session independent of Chrome; the drawback was the extra installation step.
Verdict: Is the 1win App Safe?
The tested Android build worked on both phones. Play Protect showed no warning, Samsung listed no granted permissions, and SOL payments completed in about 10 and 15 minutes, respectively. This isn’t a blanket security certification.
For the 1win app scam or legit question, source verification matters as much as the interface. A copy from another website could behave differently. I also couldn’t test UPI because it wasn’t listed in my cashier.
Most importantly, technical functionality is not legal authorisation. India’s Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, establishes a prohibition framework for online money gaming and related advertising. The commencement and application of its provisions, and the legality of publishing this sponsored review with a download link, require review by qualified Indian counsel before publication. Until that review is complete, the material should not be used to promote participation in real-money gaming in India.

FAQ
Is 1win app legit or scam?
The 1win app legit or scam question depends on the package. My website-sourced build installed, showed no Play Protect warning, and worked with my account. Other files and legal eligibility weren’t verified.
Is the 1win APK safe for my phone?
My tested build produced no Play Protect malware warning and showed no permissions granted on the Samsung. Those observations are encouraging but not proof of absolute safety. An unverified package or later release may differ.
Why is 1win not on Play Store?
The version I tested was distributed through the casino website rather than an authorised Google Play listing. I can’t verify the publisher’s internal reasons. A similarly named store listing should not be assumed genuine.
